Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare and post month-end journal entries and support the month-end close process to ensure accurate financial statements.
  • Perform account reconciliations for balance sheet accounts and investigate variances to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows, including invoice processing, cash application, and collections support.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Assist with audits and tax filings by preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to auditor requests.
  • Maintain and improve internal controls, policies, and accounting procedures to strengthen financial governance.
  • Prepare routine financial reports and ad hoc analyses to support management decision-making.

Requirements and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience in a corporate, public accounting, or comparable environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and experience with month-end close processes.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Oracle, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH).
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; able to present financial information to non-finance colleagues.
  • CPA, CMA, or similar certification is a plus; prior audit or tax exposure is desirable.

What the company offers:

  • Competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and retirement plans.
  • Support for professional development and certification through training and education reimbursement.
  • Flexible work arrangements and paid time off to promote work–life balance.
  • An inclusive, collaborative culture where diverse perspectives are valued and growth is encouraged.
