Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our product development team and help ensure we deliver reliable, high-quality software. In this role you will design and execute test strategies, create and maintain automated test suites, partner with developers and product managers to identify and mitigate risks, and advocate for quality throughout the development lifecycle. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and value collaboration, continuous improvement, and a user-focused approach to testing.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automated test suites using modern tools and frameworks (for example Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar).
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support test execution in build and release processes.
  • Investigate, document, and track defects; work closely with engineers to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and post-release retrospectives to continuously improve test coverage and processes.
  • Perform API testing, data validation, and basic performance and security checks as part of the QA scope.
  • Advocate for quality best practices, help define acceptance criteria, and mentor teammates on testing principles.

Requirements and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Practical experience in software quality assurance, ideally 2+ years in a QA or SDET role testing web or mobile applications.

  • Familiarity with API testing (Postman, RESTful services), SQL for data validation, and common test methodologies (unit, integration, regression).
  • Experience working with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.) and version control (Git).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and clear verbal and written communication.
  • Comfortable working in an Agile environment and collaborating across cross-functional teams.

What the company offers:

  • Competitive compensation, flexible working arrangements, and paid time off.
  • Opportunities for professional growth, training, and career development.
  • A collaborative, inclusive culture that values work-life balance and continuous improvement.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including health coverage and retirement plan options.
