We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Executive with experience in the food & beverage (F&B) industry to join our finance team. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day accounting operations, support month-end close and reporting, and work closely with operations to maintain strong cost controls and accurate financial records. This role is ideal for someone who combines solid accounting skills with practical knowledge of F&B processes such as inventory, payroll, and point-of-sale (POS) reconciliation.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger entries, journal postings and month-end close activities.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensure timely supplier payments and customer collections, and reconcile vendor statements.
• Reconcile daily POS receipts, bank deposits and cash handling logs; investigate and resolve variances promptly.
• Support inventory accounting: monitor stock levels, record stock movements, perform periodic reconciliations and assist with cost of goods sold (COGS) analysis.
• Process payroll and related statutory filings, ensuring compliance with local labor and tax regulations.
• Prepare routine management reports, variance analysis and support budgeting/forecasting for outlets and central functions.
• Collaborate with operations and procurement to identify cost-saving opportunities and strengthen internal controls.
• Assist with tax filings, audits and maintaining up-to-date financial documentation and policies.

Requirements and qualifications:

• Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field; professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA) is a plus.
• Minimum 2–4 years’ accounting experience, preferably within the F&B, hospitality or retail sectors.
• Practical experience with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, SAP) and familiarity with POS systems; strong Excel skills required.
• Solid understanding of inventory accounting, payroll processing, VAT/GST/tax basics and bank reconciliations.
• High attention to detail, strong analytical skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated integrity, initiative and commitment to continuous improvement of processes and controls.
